Introduction

ToDo is committed to respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled when you use the ToDo iOS app.

Key point: We do not run servers that store your task data. Your content stays on your device and (optionally) in your personal iCloud account.

Your Data Stays With You

What you create in ToDo

Depending on how you use the app, ToDo may store information such as:

• Tasks: titles, notes, due dates, locations, and reminder times
• Completion status and timestamps
• App preferences: theme choices and settings

We do not collect analytics or track you

ToDo does not:

• create user accounts
• collect usage analytics or advertising identifiers
• track you across apps or websites

Where Your Data Is Stored

ToDo stores data in the following places, depending on your settings:

• On-device storage: data is stored locally on your iPhone using SwiftData.
• iCloud / CloudKit (optional): if you enable iCloud sync, your data is synced via your personal Apple iCloud account.

We do not have access to your local data or your iCloud data.

How the App Works With Your Data

Your data is used on-device to:

• organize and display your tasks by time horizon (Today, Week, Month, Year)
• send local notifications for reminders (if enabled)
• sync your tasks across devices via iCloud (if enabled)

No Data Sharing

Because we do not collect your task data, we do not sell, share, or disclose it to third parties.

Third-Party Services

ToDo relies on a small number of third-party services provided by Apple, and a purchase processor:

Apple iCloud / CloudKit

If you enable iCloud sync, Apple processes your data as part of providing iCloud services. Apple's terms and privacy policy apply.

Apple App Store / StoreKit

If you make an in-app purchase (lifetime access), Apple processes the payment. We do not receive your payment details.

RevenueCat (In-App Purchase infrastructure)

ToDo uses RevenueCat to support in-app purchases (lifetime access). RevenueCat may process purchase-related information (such as receipt/transaction data and device/app identifiers) to validate transactions and provide purchase functionality.

Your Rights and Choices

You can:

• access and manage your data directly inside the app
• delete tasks and other data you created
• disable iCloud sync at any time
• delete the app to remove on-device data

Data Security

Your data security depends on:

• your device security settings (passcode/Face ID)
• Apple's iCloud security features (if iCloud sync is enabled)

We cannot access or recover your data if it is deleted.

Children's Privacy

ToDo is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will post the updated policy and change the "Last updated" date.
